Scott is a successful entrepreneur and an experienced business strategist and operations leader with a proven track record launching and growing new business ventures based on technological innovations in telecommunications, mobile applications and new media. Scott has a diverse background in both early stage companies and large corporations, having held management positions in strategic planning, product development, product marketing, sales strategy, channel management, client services, and operations.

Scott’s experience negotiating and closing deals has focused on early stage capital financing to launch new ventures, as well as M&A transactions that effectively integrate the high growth opportunities of an emerging business with the market presence and existing infrastructure of an acquiring company.

James Lawson

Jim is an attorney and entrepreneur who specializes in launching, supporting and monetizing technology and new media organizations. Jim has served as General Counsel and executive level management to several VC-backed and public companies. In 1999 he co-founded a web-based sports/entertainment services business and in 2008 he co-founded Augme Mobile.

Jim has extensive experience crafting and executing corporate transactions, having structured and negotiated multi-million dollar deals and sub-specialty areas of billion dollar transactions. Jim has advised corporate boards of directors regarding fiduciary considerations, corporate governance and strategic matters. Before focusing on technology ventures and other emerging businesses, Jim was a Partner in the Washington, DC office of the law firm McDermott, Will & Emery, LLP, where he represented Fortune 100 companies and growing businesses in both litigation and counseling capacities.

Robert Chang

Robert is an experienced entrepreneur, investor and operational executive in both venture-backed and Fortune 50 companies. He is also an active advisor and board director across several early-stage, mobile and cloud-based technology companies and leading nonprofit organizations. Robert has an extensive background across multiple technologies and industries including mobile apps, SaaS, social, media, education, healthcare and retail.

Robert specializes in strategic planning, product design and marketing and business development for new ventures and has previously taught marketing and interface design. He has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, an A.B. from the University of Chicago and was a charter class graduate of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
